I just spent a pleasant afternoon on Lord Hereford's Knob
I have some lovely memories of the afternoon I spent on Lord Hereford's Knob. It was the biggest Knob I've ever sat on, and I've been on a few over the years! It was a struggle to get up there, it took a lot of energy out of me. It was well worth the exertion though. The view from the top was amazing. I could see for miles across Herefordshire and the Black Mountains in Wales. I sat for a good hour admiring the scene below me.
It was really great of Lord Hereford to donate his Knob to the people of Wales and England. His Knob has given many people pleasure. Its worn out a few pairs of walking trousers as well I bet. After I'd finished and climbed off his Knob, I had the best night's sleep I've ever had - it had been so pleasurable and tiring I was out like a light that night.
